Quality of Care is our hallmark! DogWood Kennel will house your pet safely and comfortably in some truly awesome space that is clean and healthy with lots of natural light and fresh air. Rooms have soft, soothing background music or pet-themed TV entertainment and, of course, our well-trained, pet-loving, friendly staff who will go out of their way to make your pet’s stay a well-loved vacation. DWK is a place pets ask to return to! Sleepovers include meals, multiple potty breaks a day, a soft bed, and lots of attention. We require families to bring their pet’s meals–changing diets suddenly is never a good idea. Our first potty outing is at 6:00am, and our final walk of the day is at 7:00pm.
We offer a discount for additional family pets who can share appropriately sized-accommodations and who don’t need extra space to be separated for their meals. Many of our sleepover guests add Day Play to their boarding reservations for an additional $20 a day. Search “DogWood Kennel Boarding” on Youtube for a video featuring our boarding opportunities. Notice our open halls and off-leash protocols. Our boarding is best fitted for friendly, non-reactive guests.
The Midways
$50.00 a night
We pride ourselves in customizing care for our guests! Our Midways are 4’x4′ indoor accommodations, perfect for the small to mid-sized dog. Active mid-sized dogs who are busy with Day Play activities also do well in these cozy runs, as do our older dogs who just like to lie back and relax on a raised bed with a plush comforter. Adjoining Midways, priced separately, are available for those family dogs who want some together time but prefer to eat or sleep separately.

The Glass Flats
$60.00 a night
Need more space? Our 6’x4′ Glass Flats will allow your little one to caper or your larger pet to stretch out fully. These indoor rooms in their private hallway are perfect for the larger dog with plenty of space for our large raised bed with room to spare. Guests are taken outside a minimum of five or six times a day, with longer outings for those who participate in group play, or more frequent breaks for the young or elderly with special needs.
The Deluxe Suites
$70.00 a night
Our deluxe suites have the choicest amenities, and they are intended for those regal guests who are accustomed to privilege and prefer privacy. These 6’x8′ suites offer a total of 96 square feet of lavish indoor and outdoor space. DWK deluxe suites are large enough for two or three family pets to board together. These rooms have TVs, indoor and outdoor windows, and private outdoor runs, weather permitting. Nightly movies are an option for those guests who like the ambient entertainment. In-floor radiant heat is zoned, so reserve a room in the cooler south wing for your large furry companion who prefers his space to be cool, or a room in the north wing for your short-haired snuggler who likes to be cuddled in a warm bundle.
The Ultimate Suites
$80.00 a night
Our 9’x8′ Ultimate Suites come with super-sized floor space, 144 spacious indoor and outdoor total square feet. These personalized rooms are large enough to accommodate several family pets. Each room has an indoor and outdoor window, a private over-sized outside run (with day-long access, weather permitting), a TV for quiet-time entertainment, and fun-themed decor to add variety to each visit. Choose from the cool south wing or the warmer north wing. You may just want to skip the vacation and do your own sleepover!
Additional Family Pups
$35.00-$50.00 a night
A second or third sibling pet from the same household who can share the same appropriate sized accommodation and who require no special accommodations at mealtime, meds, or exercise needs are welcome to stay for an additional $35 a night. Those with conditional care requirements may stay with family siblings for sleepovers but still be separated for their special needs for $50 each per night. Our staff reserve the opportunity to separate these siblings if we have concerns about compatibility and comfort in order to best care for each pup’s needs.
Cat Condos
$28.00 a night
These unique enclosures are exclusive to our feline guests. Cats are kept in a private cattery where they are separated from the activities of the dogs by a sound-barrier wall. Adjoining cubbies have portals and shuttles to make up a kitty complex. Condos can be expanded to house additional family cats for $14 each family cat. Our cat guests are often given run-of-the-cattery, where they can perch in a window and watch the birds or climb onto our cat perches! A stay at DWK is purr-fect fun for your feline family!
Special Drop-off and Pick-up Times & Charges

- Monday through Friday drop-off and pick-up times are 7:00 to 9:00am and 4:30 to 6:30pm. Alternate weekday drop-off and pick-up times between 9am and 4:30pm are available by arrangement during the week.
- Weekend lobby hours are Saturday morning 7:00 to 9:00am and Sunday evening 4:30 to 6:30pm. Alternate weekend drop-off and pick-up times can be arranged BY APPOINTMENT for Saturday evenings and Sunday mornings. A weekend courtesy of $40 allows you to choose your drop-off or pick-up time.
- Our staff are highly trained, compassionate, and attentive. When your pet is in our care and custody, we will always follow your instructions as closely as possible, but we also reserve the right to make decisions about daily care based on best interests for health, welfare, and comfort. Safety is always our first priority, followed by pet comfort and opportunity to enjoy their dogwood experience.
